Anti-Corruption

As part of Lebanon’s renewed efforts to implement and update its National Anti-Corruption Strategy, and in accordance with the Decision of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform No. 47/2025 establishing a Youth Task Team under the Technical Anti-Corruption Committee, OMSAR has established a youth task team consisting of seven motivated Lebanese youth to join national anti-corruption efforts.

What the Youth Task Team Does:

Technical Oversight

Provides technical oversight of the National Youth Action Plan related to the National Anti-Corruption Strategy.

Youth Consultations

Organizes consultations with youth across Lebanon to gather perspectives and insights on corruption and integrity issues.

How Youth Are Engaged:

Monthly Coordination

Youth members participate in monthly meetings of the National Task Team for Supporting the Role of Youth in the National Anti-Corruption Strategy, alongside representatives from relevant ministries and institutions involved in implementing the National Anti-Corruption Strategy. During these meetings, they share progress updates, exchange insights, and contribute to policy and programme discussions. Their participation ensures that youth perspectives are consistently integrated into national anti-corruption efforts.

Beyond these meetings, youth members are actively engaged in implementing a structured action plan that includes:

1

Policy Review and Development

Reviewing the National Youth Action Plan and developing recommendations to enhance its implementation.

2

Awareness and Education

Designing and delivering awareness sessions on integrity and anti-corruption in schools and universities to reach youth audiences nationwide.

3

Digital Campaigns

Preparing and launching social media campaigns to promote awareness of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy and youth-engagement efforts.
